The Sunny South District Soccer Association's next meeting will be held in Brooks at the Lakeview on February 13, 2012 at 7 PM.
We had our January meeting on January 9, 2012 and the minutes are posted under the SSDSA Meeting Minutes page.
Our Qualifying Games were held in Duchess on January 13-15 with a total of fifteen teams participating. It was a great weekend of soccer. and the results are posted on the Qualifying Games page.
At this time we have 17 teams playing in the Indoor Provincial Competitions this March. We wish you all the very best in the Indoor Provincial Competitions!
The ASA AGM was held in Edmonton on January 21, 2012, with Jason Bolen and Paul Anwender attending. The meeting went quite well, with a balanced budget and elections as highlights. Our past Treasurer of Sunny South, John Voorhorst was again nominated to the position of Director of Finance and was installed by acclamation. Congratulations John!
Taber District Soccer Association will be hosting an NCCP Senior course this March, for more information contact Debbie Sargeant or myself, Paul Anwender.
Our DRA, Micheal Barwagen has been selected to the AR list of National Referees for the 2012 year. Please join me in congratulating Micheal on this great achivement.
